I
n case you didn't know (because apparently there's a bunch of you that don't), there are words in the English language that have the same sound as another word but are spelled differently and have different meanings. They're called homophones. Here are a few that you may recognize:
two/too/to
their/they're/there
won/one
your/you're
I'm starting to think that either people skipped fourth (not forth) grade or they just don't read any of the stupid shit they write. Below are examples of people improperly using various homophones. Using the wrong word on social media or in a text may not bother anyone other than (not then) a Grammar Nazi... but please, for the love of all that is holy (not holey or wholly), make sure you have the proper word before it's permanently tattooed onto your body.
I hope this was a joke!

For all you Grammar Nazis - I am aware that then/than is not a homophone. However, the words are incorrectly thought to be interchangeable by far too many people.
